Rescuing the UK Economy

A club for those fed up with a broken economy

About us

4% p.a. is a low estimate of the hit to Britain’s business from Brexit

The Club is bringing together many of those businesses and trades that have been stung, impacted and even closed….and many others that see opportunities denied them.

The widespread damage impacts members of all political parties. Many of our members will also be members of The Rejoin EU party, but many more will belong to others or no party. We want to give a cohesive voice to this huge group and all their sympathisers.

What we’ve done so far

The Rejoin EU Party has already done a lot, the dial has moved.

From 2020, with support from people like you, we have run a number of important campaigns which have significantly shifted public and politicial opinion. To save the UK economy and empower British business again, however, we need you.

Pushed the Mayor of London to call out the harm Brexit has had on British Business

Mayor Sadiq Khan highlighted how Brexit has shrunk the UK economy by nearly £140 billion, including over £30 billion in London, with nearly two million fewer jobs nationwide. He attributes Brexit as a major driver of the cost-of-living crisis, particularly rising food prices, and urges the government to forge closer ties with the EU to limit further economic harm.

Pressured the Lib Dems to end their silence on the need for the EU Customs Union

Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey has shifted to back a customs union with the EU, marking a significant change in the party’s stance post-Brexit. This move aims to strengthen economic ties, ease trade barriers, and align more closely with European markets while stopping short of rejoining the EU.

2.5% of Londoners backed a pro-Rejoin EU political party.

In a surprising result, 2.5% of Londoners backed the Rejoin EU Party in the London Assembly elections, directly voting for a pro-rejoin agenda. Coming just behind Reform UK and securing its deposit, the party’s performance highlights growing dissatisfaction with Brexit and signals to major parties, particularly Labour and the Conservatives, that the public is ready to re-join the EU.

How to Join

Membership is open to all, people and businesses alike. And it is free.

All you need to do is fill in the form.

Benefits of Joining

We all know that by now a majority of Parliamentarians realise that Brexit was a horrible shot in the foot for Britain.

We also know that the current Government is frightened of resurrecting the issue and being accused of “going against the will of the people”.
Our job is to strengthen their resolve, make it easier for them to act, and to pressure all parties to reconsider.

What you’re supporting

Momentum

Polls have already shifted against Brexit, most people know it was harmful to the economy and contributed to the current cost of living crisis. To fix this we need campaigns, marketing and coverage to pressure politicians

Fundraising

Campaigns are expensive, they cost the same if more than commercial marketing but have none of the profits to offset it. With the support of the 4 Percent club we can invest in fundriaisng even more, making sure the campaign to end Brexit and its economic hardship continues.

Elections

The single most powerful moment to influence politicians is at the ballet box. When comfortable majorities are whittled down politicians begin to take note.

Business

Many British businesses are struggling with Brexit regulations, yet they have no idea that they have a right to a voice on this. Through conferences and other engagement channels we’re giving the backbone of the economy a voice.

Research

Building the growing evidence that the UK economy is not performing better now we have left the European Union.

Movement

A movement that supports business and champions it is the only way to achieve permanent political change.

Our Campaigns

Since 2020 we have been campaigning to pressure politicians to address the serious economic situation in the UK. Much of this work has been standing candidates in strategic elections to wake the Labour Party up. Not all our campaigns are aimed at Labour however, we need a complete sea shift to get us back in Europe.

Our Supporters

We are supported by many different people from many different backgrounds. United in frustration over the damage to our economy and ability to do business. Brexit has not worked and now it’s time to Rejoin the EU

At the moment, the estimate from Bloomberg – the financial reporting organisation – as agreed with the [National Audit Office] is that we are losing £100 billion a year in output, which is £1570 per person in the UK. That’s what it’s cost us annually since we left and it’s increasing every year.

?????????

Brexit has brought prolonged injury to the UK’s economy, politics and society. People of all walks of life, sometimes without realising it, became poorer financially and restricted in choices. Rejoin EU is the only party which aims to repair this damage by uniting all pro-EU voters, irrespective of their political preferences.

The hole in the public finances is larger than £20bn owing to the urgent need to reduce debt, which is now at levels that risk international markets’ confidence.
